Stéphanie Frederickx

Stéphanie leads nomadic projects under her own name, STÉPHANIE FREDERICKX, functioning as a gallery with represented artists, designers, and a curated program. As a curator she is passionate about blending styles, she embraces diversity and pushes beyond the ordinary. In her approach, emotion, love for material and respect for harmony are key elements. This all results in exhibitions presenting well-known, established artists, designers next to up-and-coming ones. What they all have in common is their position in the grey zone between art, landscapes and design, eliminating superfluous frills down to the essence, the pure form.

Fréderickx’s expertise lies in bringing together elements that transcend the ordinary, embracing emotion, harmony, and authenticity. House Sur is furnished with furniture pieces by Sam Kerckaert, Tim Vranken, Phil Procter, Turbina Studio, and K. J. Pettersson & Söner, which blend natural aesthetics with a modern sensibility. Unique objects by Fabio Hendry and Jojo Corväia enhance the overall character of the interior, adding thoughtful design details that reflect a harmonious balance between tradition and innovation. The artistic collaboration continues with artworks by Kick Veldman, Karen Verlinden, Perla Krauze, Nathalie Van der Massen, and Mirko Baricchi, whose contributions add a profound artistic depth to House Sur. Each piece is carefully selected to foster an atmosphere of stillness, beauty, and resonance within the space.
